Resources

These are just a few of the resources I use on the daily for inspiration, tools, supplies, and whatever else I need to create my masterpieces. What are your favorite spots (virtual and physical)? No, really… Email me yours! I love discovering little gems.

Paper Sourcewasp

If you haven’t been in one of these stores, you HAVE GOT TO GO. No, really… stop reading this and GO. When I walk in, I get super giddy. They have beautiful papers and handy crafting tools. Plus they make it easy for all of us by providing pre-cut cards sized for standard envelopes in every color.

And if you’re ever looking for the perfect birthday card, this is where you’ll find it.

You’re welcome.

Sooooo… I was a little late getting on this train, and once I finally did, I slapped myself for not joining sooner. Then I started losing sleep.

Here’s Pinterest in a nutshell: You can ‘create and share collections (called “boards”) of visual bookmarks (called “Pins”) that you can use to do things like plan trips and projects (like your super custom invitation project), organize events or save articles and recipes.’ –wiki

Whenever I start a new project, I create a new board. We can share a private board and BOTH pin ideas. This way we can quickly (and easy peasily) get on the same page with design direction.

Michael’sMichaels_logos

Craftaholic Heaven! My go-to arts and crafts store used to be Hobby Lobby when I lived in Texas, but there’s not one near me now. Buuuuut Michael’s is just minutes from my house. I can spend HOURS in there.

Make sure to download the app! They send coupons all the time like, 40% off one item. Hello? Yes, please!

I swear this fashion, style, and beauty blog was written and published specifically for me. And only me. At least it feels that way. If you’re a 20 to 30-something mid-career woman, chances are you will empathize. Plus, they sprinkle in a little tasteful celebrity gossip. (The good stuff.)

Like it on Facebook and your news feed will supply you with little tidbits all day long. And if you’re anything like me, Facebook will start feeding you almost every post by R29. Which isn’t a bad thing (like when that random acquaintance keeps popping up because you cyber-stalked them last week. Nothing like that!)

Again, you’re welcome.
